Gabriela de Jesus Thomas Salgado (born 20 February 1998) is a South African soccer player who plays as a midfielder for SAFA Women's League club JvW and the South Africa women's national team.
Salgado was born in Johannesburg, Gauteng to a father of Portuguese descent and a mother of Lebanese descent.
[1] The first known game Salgado played in for the South African national team was in a 3-0 friendly loss against Zambia on 12 February 2022.
[3] On 23 June 2023, Salgado was added to the final squad at the 2023 World Cup.
