Hebenstretia lanceolata is a species of plant from South Africa.
This hairy shrub grows 20–60 cm (7.9–23.6 in) tall.
The fruit is a vacuolate ellipsoid with two approximately equal mericarps.
[2] This plant is endemic to the Western Cape of South Africa.
It grows on sandstone slopes between the Cedarberg and Stellenbosch at an altitude of 460–1,220 m (1,510–4,000 ft).
