Heybridge, Tasmania

Heybridge is a semi-rural locality in the local government areas (LGA) of Central Coast and Burnie in the North-west and west LGA region of the Australian island state of Tasmania.

It is a village located where the Bass Highway crosses the Blythe River, and is bounded by the Blythe River National Park to the south and Bass Strait to the north.

[2] Blythe Heads Post Office opened in 1947 and was renamed Heybridge in 1966.

The Blythe River forms part of the southern boundary and then flows through to the north.

[5] The Bass Highway (National Route 1) passes through from north-east to north-west.
