The Holiday Hills are a series of mostly treeless, loam[1] hills in Spokane County, Washington, in the foothills of the Selkirk Range.
[2] Eventually this name fell out of use, and the name "Holiday Hills" spread to refer to the surrounding hills as a whole.
Despite the resort and many other businesses eventually closing down, the hills retained their name.
[3] "Holiday Road" in Spokane Valley and "Holiday Hills Drive" in Liberty Lake are named after the hills.
Carlson Hill is a summit in Spokane County in the U.S. state of Washington.
