Huaro District

11863 on September 26, 1952, its capital is the town of Huaro.

One of the highest peaks of the district is Khuchiyuq at approximately 4,600 m (15,100 ft).

Quechua is the language which the majority of the population (56.81%) learnt to speak in childhood, 42.90% of the residents started speaking using the Spanish language (2007 Peru Census).
