Juan Esteban Mina

Born in Santander de Quilichao in the Cauca Department of Colombia, Mina played for amateur side Síntesis Talento y Vida in his youth.

[2] He moved to Portugal in 2021, joining Lusitânia in the Liga Meo Azores, the fifth division of Portuguese football.

He played twice in the Copa Colombia, and was named on the bench once for a Categoría Primera A match against América de Cali, though he did not feature.

[5] In January 2023, he was strongly linked with a move to Académica, even training with the team, but this deal eventually fell through.

[5][6] Ahead of the start of the 2023–24 season, he joined Serbian First League side Metalac on a season-long loan deal.
