Lefter Koxhaj

Lefter Koxhaj (22 September 1969 – 7 August 2001), better known as Komandant Teli, was an Albanian commander of the National Liberation Army.

Lefter Koxhaj was born in the village Nishovë in the Skrapar District on the 22 September 1969.

[2] According to some claims, he was part of a criminal group during the 1997 Albanian civil unrest.

[3] When the insurgency in Macedonia started, Koxhaj immediately became part of the NLA under the name Lefter Bicaj.

[4][3][5] The raid was carried out by the Special Operations Unit who were exactly informed about the location of Koxhaj in Gazi Baba, Skopje.
