Lewis Wolberg

Lewis Robert Wolberg (July 4, 1905 – February 3, 1988) was an American psychoanalyst.

He wrote or edited 20 books, and in 1945 founded the Postgraduate Center for Mental Health in New York City.

From 1967 to 1986, he was professor of psychiatry at the New York University School of Medicine.

To treat obesity, he recommended a low-calorie diet.
