It was a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star in 2009 and retained that rating until 2011.

[7][8] Leemhuis left in 2012 and was succeeded by Maik Kuijpers[9][10] On 1 May 2014 the second sister of De Librije opened in Amsterdam.

This restaurant, also named Librije's Zusje is located in the Waldorf Astoria Hotel.
