Limatambo District

Limatambo District is one of nine districts of the province Anta in Peru.

[1] One of the highest peaks of the district is Hatun Q'asa at 5,338 m (17,513 ft).

Other mountains are listed below:[2] The people in the district are mainly indigenous citizens of Quechua descent.

Quechua is the language which the majority of the population (79.74%) learnt to speak in childhood, 19.63% of the residents started speaking using the Spanish language (2007 Peru Census).
