Mahbubur Rahman (general, born 1962)

[2] He did his MBBS from the Rajshahi Medical College in 1985 and received his commission from Bangladesh Army next year.

[2] Rahman was promoted to Brigadier General rank in 2011 and was appointed head of the Army Medical Corps Center and School.

[2] He also worked as the Chief Health Officer of the Dhaka South City Corporation.

[2] On 3 February 2019, Rahman was appointed the head of Armed Forces Medical College.

[3] He approved COVID-19 vaccines bought from Serum Institute of India by BEXIMCO for usage during the COVID-19 pandemic in Bangladesh.
