[2] Born in Chapel Hill, North Carolina to parents Don and Beth Pathman, Mollie was raised with her brother Josh in Durham.

[3] She attended Durham Academy and graduated as the all-time leading scorer with 130 goals and 65 assists in the history of the team.

[4] Pathman received Parade All-American honors in 2009 and 2010[3] and was named the 2010 Gatorade National High School Player of the Year.

[8] On July 15, 2016, Pathman announced her retirement from professional soccer to pursue a career in the medical field.

[3] Pathman resides in Durham, North Carolina with her dog, Theodore, and practices as a physical therapist.
