He played college football for the Louisiana–Monroe Warhawks and Texas Tech Red Raiders.
Cole attended Evangel Christian Academy in Shreveport, Louisiana.
He committed to the University of Louisiana at Monroe to play college football.
[2][3] In two years at Texas Tech, he played in 25 games and had 44 tackles and 3.5 sacks.
