Notozomus jacquelinae

Notozomus jacquelinae is a species of schizomid arachnid (commonly known as short-tailed whip-scorpions) in the Hubbardiidae family.

It was described in 2000 by Australian arachnologist Mark Harvey.

The specific epithet jacquelinae honours Jacqueline Heurtault (1936-2000) for her contributions to arachnology.

[1][2] The species occurs in North Queensland, inhabiting plant litter in closed forest habitats.

The type locality is Mount Abbot, some 50 km west-south-west of Bowen and 975 km north-west of Brisbane.
