Ohio State Route 505

This state highway runs from its southern terminus at a T-intersection with U.S. Route 52 (US 52) in the western half of the village of Higginsport to its northern terminus at SR 125 just 0.50 miles (0.80 km) southeast of Hamersville.

All of SR 505 is situated within the southwestern corner of Brown County.

In addition, SR 505 was re-instated to its 1937–1940 status of being free of a concurrency for its entire length.

[7][8] In 2015, Coopers Excavating replaced a bridge located at the 7.24 mile marker.

Coopers Excavating was awarded the contract to replace the bridge for a total of $304,522.
