The Britomart Transport Centre, Queen Elizabeth Square and Grand Mercure Auckland hotel are on the south side.

The results were 40.5% European (Pākehā); 8.3% Māori; 5.8% Pasifika; 48.3% Asian; 6.7% Middle Eastern, Latin American and African New Zealanders (MELAA); and 1.5% other, which includes people giving their ethnicity as "New Zealander".

Of those at least 15 years old, 819 (44.8%) people had a bachelor's or higher degree, 612 (33.4%) had a post-high school certificate or diploma, and 402 (22.0%) people exclusively held high school qualifications.
