Twin Coast Discovery Highway

The Twin Coast Discovery Highway is an 800-kilometre (500 mi)[1] circular road route of Northland, a region located in New Zealand.

It begins to cross through rural farmlands, and enters an automated toll road, passing through the Johnstones Hill Tunnels.

For 30 kilometres (19 mi),[citation needed] the route goes west, before entering the town Ruawai, a settlement placed directly next to the Wairoa River.

It passes through a few small settlements such as Ōkaihau, Rangiahua, Umawera, Mangamuka, before it reaches the town of Kaitaia.

The road crosses through rural farmlands, before passing through the North Shore, and finally reconnecting with Central Auckland.
