The Savannah Subdivision is a railroad line owned by CSX Transportation in the U.S. state of Georgia.
The West Route is located in Savannah, Georgia, and is 9.7 miles (15.6 km) in length.
[4] The S Line north of Savannah was originally built as the South Bound Railroad in 1891.
South of Savannah, the line was a northern extension of the Florida Central and Peninsular Railroad built in 1894.
In 1980, the Seaboard Coast Line's parent company merged with the Chessie System, creating the CSX Corporation.
