Shan Vincent de Paul (SVDP) is a Tamil Canadian recording artist and director from Toronto, Ontario.

He is part of Toronto-based artist collective, sideways which includes Coleman Hell, La+ch, Mad Dog Jones, and Michah.

[1][2] SVDP was born in Jaffna, Sri Lanka and fled the country in his young age due to the civil war and moved to Canada as refugees.

[4][5][6][7] SVDP has been featured in media outlets such as Highsnobiety,[8] Complex, BBC,[9] CBC,[10] DJBOOTH,[11] Okayplayer, Afropunk,[12] Clash Magazine,[13] and Torontist.

Alongside Emily Persich, Moël, Terrell Morris, Ceréna and Vivek Shraya, he won a Canadian Screen Award for Best Original Music in a Comedy Series at the 11th Canadian Screen Awards in 2023.
