Shmaryahu Hoz (Hebrew: שמריהו הוז; born 1945) is a Professor Emeritus specializing in physical organic chemistry and computational nanotechnology.

[1] Professor Hoz has held several administrative positions at Bar Ilan University.

He served as the Head of the Department of Chemistry and subsequently as Vice President for Research of the University.

[2] In his capacity as a VPR, he established the brain research center[3] and set in place the foundations for the School of Engineering.

He currently serves as senior advisor to the university president and the head of the Responsa Project.
