St. Sarkis Church (Yerevan, Armenia)

The construction of the church began in 1998 and was sponsored by Sarkis Gabrellian, an Armenian benefactor from New York City.

The church was built according to the design of the architect Baghdasar Arzoumanian.

The painting of the Mother-of-God with the Christ child for the altar is by the painter Grigor Khanjyan.

Its circular form, polygonal and three-storeyed structure has been executed according to the traditional Armenian architectural style.
