Světnov is a municipality and village in Žďár nad Sázavou District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic.

It has about 500 inhabitants.

Světnov lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) north of Žďár nad Sázavou, 37 km (23 mi) north-east of Jihlava, and 123 km (76 mi) south-east of Prague.
