Velká Losenice is a municipality and village in Žďár nad Sázavou District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic.
Most of the municipal territory lies in the Upper Sázava Hills, only the northeastern part extends into the Křižanov Highlands.
The northeastern half of the municipality is situated in the Žďárské vrchy Protected Landscape Area.
Between 1597 and 1620, the estate was owned by the Zeidlitz family, but their properties were confiscated after the Battle of White Mountain.
