Thayer Street, London

The proposal was opposed by the shopkeepers and small traders in the street who worried about the cost of the change, possible customer confusion, and the association with Marylebone Road rather than the posher Oxford Street they were nearer.

[1][2] Thayer Street is mainly made up of older terraced houses with small shops at ground level.

[3] The West London Mission of the Methodist Church is a grade II listed building with Historic England at number 19 on the eastern side.
