Uchaux

Uchaux (French pronunciation: [yʃo]; Occitan: Uchau) is a commune in the Vaucluse department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in Southeastern France.

Local landscapes include Provençal vineyards and forests.

It is 8 km (4.9 mi) north of the city of Orange.

[5] Uchaux is home to the historical 16th-century Château de Massillan, built by Henry II of France for Diane de Poitiers, which was re-opened as a private hotel in 2000.
