Wanzwil is a municipality in the district of Wangen in the canton of Bern in Switzerland.
[2] Before the merger, Wanzwil had a population (as of 2007[update]) of 208, of which 6.3% are foreign nationals.
Most of the population (as of 2000[update]) speaks German (86.3%), with Italian being second most common ( 5.8%) and Albanian being third ( 2.9%).
In the 2007 election the most popular party was the SVP which received 45.7% of the vote.
In Wanzwil about 70.7% of the population (between age 25-64) have completed either non-mandatory upper secondary education or additional higher education (either University or a Fachhochschule).
