Wegenstetten is a municipality in the district of Rheinfelden in the canton of Aargau in Switzerland.
Wegenstetten has an area, as of 2009[update], of 7.13 square kilometers (2.75 sq mi).
Of the rest of the land, 0.59 km2 (0.23 sq mi) or 8.3% is settled (buildings or roads), 0.01 km2 (2.5 acres) or 0.1% is either rivers or lakes.
[3] The blazon of the municipal coat of arms is Gules a Wall fesswise embattled and with loopholes Sable.
Most of the population (as of 2000[update]) speaks German(95.8%), with Serbo-Croatian being second most common ( 1.5%) and Albanian being third ( 1.2%).
[7] The age distribution, as of 2008[update], in Wegenstetten is; 116 children or 10.6% of the population are between 0 and 9 years old and 146 teenagers or 13.3% are between 10 and 19.
