Černá (Žďár nad Sázavou District)

Černá is a municipality and village in Žďár nad Sázavou District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic.

Černá consists of two municipal parts (in brackets population according to the 2021 census):[2] The name literally means 'black' in Czech.

Jan Rafael Chroustenský had built a Renaissance castle at the end of the 16th century.

After 1948 the castle was owned by the municipality, and social and cultural events were held there.

Today the castle is privately owned and inaccessible to the public.
