The 2019 Orioles became the first team in history to yield 300+ home runs in a season, a new MLB record.
The pitching staff also allowed 981 runs throughout the season - an abysmal mark that led all of MLB and was the worst in MLB history since the 1999 Colorado Rockies allowed 1028 runs.
Despite the team's atrocious overall performance, one highlight of the 2019 season was back-to-back 13–0 victories over the Cleveland Indians on June 28–29.
The Orioles were the first team in major league history to record back-to-back shutout victories by a margin of 13 or more runs.
