2022 United States House of Representatives elections in Florida

Despite losing by an overwhelming margin, Jones ended up being the biggest overperformer in this election cycle for a Florida congressional candidate when compared to the top of the ticket.

Jones outperformed Val Demings, the Democratic nominee for the concurrent U.S. Senate race, by approximately 9 percentage points, and Charlie Crist, the Democratic nominee for Florida governor, by about 11 percentage points within this district's borders.

As a result, the east-to-west layout connecting Tallahassee to Jacksonville was removed entirely.
