Hary Gunarto

At Ritsumeikan APU Univ., he developed computer programming (courses) curriculum for Business and Social Science students (who did and didn't have math background knowledge),[12] where he became a full professor.

With partial support and funding from ICTP, he led summer school program for ASEAN scientists, and organized Asia Pacific Faraday Meeting in 1991.

Gunarto was visiting professor at KFUPM (Saudi Arabia) and also at AKAMIGAS, State-owned oil company training center in Cepu, East Java.

In 1994, Hary Gunarto was assigned to initiate the development of Master program of computer science department at Gadjah Mada University.

Later at Ritsumeikan APU Univ., Prof. Gunarto also contributed actively on several committee members and involved in the development of challenging ICT major of undergraduate program in the College of Asia Pacific Studies (Social Studies) at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University in 2007.
