Jerseytown is a census-designated place (CDP) that is located in Madison Township, Columbia County, Pennsylvania, United States.
It is part of Northeastern Pennsylvania and of the Bloomsburg-Berwick micropolitan area.
[4] The land of the Jerseytown area was first bought by the Welliver family in 1785, after the Revolutionary War.
Jerseytown is located in western Columbia County at 41°5′15″N 76°34′53″W / 41.08750°N 76.58139°W / 41.08750; -76.58139 (41.087459, -76.581405),[6] near the center of Madison Township.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 0.73 square miles (1.9 km2), all land.
10.0% of all households were made up of individuals, and 4.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
