[12][13] In June 2019 financially unstable East Jefferson General Hospital's board of directors entered into a memorandum of understanding with LCMC Health aimed at exploring a possible partnership.

[17][18][19] Restrictions included having all visitors be required to wear a mask while inside the facility and undergo temperature checks before any visitation could take place.

The network also participated in daily conference calls with competitor hospitals and government agencies to determine best practices when dealing with COVID patients.
