Matějov is a municipality and village in Žďár nad Sázavou District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic.
A notable body of water is the Matějovský Pond with an area of 60.4 ha (149 acres).
The 80.8 ha (200-acre) large Veselský Pond is located just beyond the municipal border.
The only protected cultural monuments are a stone cross from 1828 and a Baroque calvary.
