Oakland, Kentucky

Oakland is a home rule-class city in Warren County, Kentucky, in the United States.

In 1859, the city was named for its many oak trees by pioneer William Radford.

[4] According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.4 square miles (3.6 km2), all land.

The racial makeup of the city was 88.08% White, 11.54% African American, and 0.38% from two or more races.

18.6% of all households were made up of individuals, and 6.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
