Veikko Palomaa [fi], a teacher at a Finnish-Swedish preacher's school, pushed the issue most strongly.
[3] In 1909, a revival took place in the congregation, as a result of which the number of members increased to 143 in twenty years.
[4] In the early days, the congregation organized Sunday school work in which a couple of hundred children and ten teachers participated.
From the beginning of the following year, the tasks were taken over by Markku Vehkaoja, who also took care of the Baptist congregations of Jurva, Kauhajoki and Ylistaro.
Among others, Jouko Neulanen and congregation leader Heimo Hokkanen spoke at the dedication ceremony of a new chapel.
