William Walton Griest (September 22, 1858 – December 5, 1929) was a Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Pennsylvania.
He was engaged in teaching, and was a member of the city school board of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, for twenty-four years.
From 1882 to 1888, he was engaged in newspaper work as editor of the Inquirer, Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
He served as a member of the State sinking fund commission and of the board of pardons.
Griest was elected as a Republican to the Sixty-first and to the ten succeeding Congresses and served until his death at Mount Clemens, Michigan.
