Fulton is a town in Schoharie County, New York, United States.
Part of the early town was called Vroomansland after Adam Vrooman, the landowner.
However, other settlers of German extraction, desiring the same land, fomented trouble with the natives.
The Shafer Site was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

The current Supervisor of the town of Fulton is Democrat Phil Skowfoe.
