Seward, New York

Seward is a town in Schoharie County, New York, United States.

[3] The town is named after senator, governor, and secretary of state William H. Seward.

The Town of Seward is in the northwestern part of the county and is northeast of Oneonta.

During the American Revolution, much of the town was destroyed due to conflict between loyalist and revolutionary factions.

New York State Route 145 is a north–south highway in the northeastern part of Seward.
