It is part of the Cape Coral-Fort Myers, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Harlem Heights is located southwest of the center of Lee County at 26°31′00″N 81°55′41″W / 26.516681°N 81.927953°W / 26.516681; -81.927953.
