He played college football at California and selected in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL draft by the Atlanta Falcons.

Hawkins attended Buena Park High School, where he was a four star recruit, and graduated in 2015.

Hawkins was selected in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL draft with the 134th overall pick by the Atlanta Falcons.
