Mulberry Creek (Chattahoochee River tributary)

"Cataula" is a name derived from the Muskogee language meaning "dead mulberry".

[1] The creek begins as a tributary off of the Chattahoochee River south of Lake Harding in western Harris County.

It begins flowing northeast, crossing Georgia State Route 219 south of Antioch.

It then begins to narrow as curves back to the east, crossing more local roads as well as U.S. Route 27 Alternate north of Waverly Hall before curving to the north and ending in a small lake just inside Talbot County.
