Then, on 2 June 2021, Huawei launched HarmonyOS 2.0 with AppGallery pre-installed on its own smartphones and tablets.
By the end of 2024, the company expects an additional 5,000 native apps to hit on HarmonyOS AppGallery and hopes to exceed 500,000 native apps for HarmonyOS in the near future.
