Revels (confectionery)

Revels are a chocolate coated confectionery with assorted centres made by Mars, Inc.[1] They were first introduced into the United Kingdom in 1967.

[2] Originally, Revels had orange creme, coconut, toffee, or peanut centres, along with Galaxy Counters (Minstrels minus exterior shell) and Maltesers.

[4] Galaxy Counters were initially available as a product in their own right, but since their discontinuation they were only sold as part of the Revels selection.

[citation needed] On 1 December 2023, Revels were recalled due to rubber being found in certain batches of the sweets.

The Food Standards Agency stated people who bought the sweets not to consume them.

Rubber (not pictured) found in certain batches of revels sweet packets (pictured) was deemed unsafe to eat.
