Mergellina station

[1] The station is currently managed by Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI) and ANM.

Mergellina station is on Corso Vittorio Emanuele, to the south west of the city centre.

It is about 200 metres (660 ft) north of the Mergellina marina, from where the hydrofoils depart for the islands in the Gulf of Naples.

The station was opened on 20 September 1925, upon the inauguration of the Villa Literno–Napoli Gianturco railway.

Mergellina is part of the Art Stations and has been decorated with works by Merz.
