Norton Radstock is a former civil parish in the Bath and North East Somerset district, in the ceremonial county of Somerset, England, which covered the conurbation of Midsomer Norton, Radstock and Westfield.
[2] The parish was created on 1 April 1933 from Midsomer Norton, Radstock, Writhlington and Kilmersdon.
[4] Under the Local Government Act 1972 it became a successor parish to the urban district on 1 April 1974.
[5] A 2009 petition[6] by Midsomer Norton residents to Bath and North East Somerset Council triggered a governance review which resulted in the creation of separate town councils for Midsomer Norton and Radstock, and a parish council for Westfield, all effective 1 April 2011.
[9] It was part of the North East Somerset constituency, which elects a Member of Parliament to the House of Commons.
